Hi, my name's Jessica and I'm an artist, and today we're going to draw spoons with some depth to them. So, when you're drawing your spoon the first thing we're going to do is we're going to do a nice long handle. It's going to come around and then back in, and then the spoon which has kind of a rounded part, like that. Now, this spoon has a little bit of a, if you draw sort of the outline of the spoon, it will show instant depth. We can see that there's a little bit of thickness to the spoon. Now, we can further illustrate this by putting a little bit of shadow on the other side and just kind of coloring in this edge to show the spoon has a little bit of depth here. Now, let's try it from another angle. Let's do, let's do the spoon going up. So, say we have a spoon that kind of comes in like so, say these spoons are kind of crossing. Now, this spoon is going to come up. It's got a kind of a tip, like that. And same kind of deal. So, here's our spoon shape and we're going just draw a little bit of a, kind of a edge around it to give it a little bit of instant depth, almost like when we're drawing 3D letters or something of that nature. And you can also put a little bit of a line on the side to show that the spoon has a curve there. Don't connect the lines. We want to kind of keep them separate. And you can thicken it up a little bit to show further depth. That's how you draw a spoon with depth.
