Hi, my name is Jessica and I'm an artist, and today we're going to draw an owl's head. So the first thing we want to do is make a nice big circle, but don't quite complete the circle because we need some room for the ears and some other parts. So first of all we're going to go, after we do our circle, we're going to go up and do the ears. The ears kind of come out like that, kind of these cute little wings almost. They look like little wings right on top of the owl's head and then after that they've got this kind of forehead thing, kind of an angular looking forehead and their eyebrows come down in this sort of very interesting expression. And then their eyeballs come out of their eyebrows. They have like these big eyes, very symmetrical looking faces and then they have these very intense kind of pupils. I'm making this owl look angry but he's not really angry he's just thinking about something really hard. And then they have this little nose, this little beak that comes out, pointy little beak and they've got very interesting designs on their faces often that connect with the eyes and they've got this kind of fluffy ruffle around their head there. So you can put some patterns if you want to around the sides, that's fun and a little bit of fur in their ears and that is how you draw an owl head.
