Hi. I'm Rosalie and I'm an artist, and I'm going to show you how to draw a theatre building. So, a theatre building is like where you would go to see movies or a play. This one is a movie house, and it's sort of foreshortened a little bit. This is the marquee structure, which is the signage that shows what's playing and that it is a movie theatre. So, sort of sticks out like an awning a little. And I'm just drawing in the building, which is sort of--got some angles. Give it sort of a Gothic-style window. Sometimes theatres don't have windows at all, 'cause they have their own lighting inside, but this is just a basic sort of shape of maybe what a theatre building might be like. And so, it's foreshortening back. And put some archways that go over the sidewalk where the theatre is. And so people can, like, walk under it, buy their tickets, maybe, you know, get out of the rain while there. There's the door. that's the double door, let's say. So, that's sort of a building that would be a theatre. And I'm just putting the word "MOVIES" on this thing, which might have lights around it. And it's sort of a vertical lit-up sign that you often see at the movies; And there might be some kinds of movies listed on this. And, you know, ha, just putting in, you know, some stuff on the marquee. And that's how I draw a theatre building.
