Hi, I'm Rosalie and I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw a cartoon desk. So I'm going to draw this desk from the back which is like where you would sit and it's slightly from above too so it's a foreshortened rectangle for the top and that's the desktop and it has a little thickness and I'm doing it like that. So that's the top and then it has some legs coming down like that and on one side, so there's the leg. And then there's the other leg, whoops, try to keep those lines parallel to each other and then there's this desk has a set of drawers built in and I'm just drawing in the drawers. I'm putting some knobs on the drawers and then it has a top drawer here and then there is another section of drawers just like the first one and I'm putting in the drawer knobs, whoops, and that's where your legs would go and so that goes back like that. And then here's the knob for that centered drawer and here is what is called the blotter which is a piece of like a board and it has corners like that. Sometimes it's a calendar but it's something to protect the surface of the desk and that you can also write notes and stuff on and that is how I draw a cartoon desk.
