Hi, I'm Rosalie and I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw a shell shape. So there's a bunch of different kinds of shell shapes I'm drawing one that is called a nautilus and a lot of shells are shaped like this and it's a spiral kind of like a snail shell is one of these and you can keep going you know but I'm going to stop it here and then that's the opening at the end of the shell so that's like a nautilus shell shape and another shell shape would be sort of a fan shape so I'm doing like a rounded top and then sort of rounding the sides and it's like a fan shape with a point on the bottom and this is a scallop shell and it has two little triangles down there so you can put those in and then it has these lines that radiate out from this point and that's like, like this, kind of like the spokes of a bicycle or something and you can sort of round these off I think that's where scallops get scalloping scalloped edge gets its name from the scallop shell cause it is like this and that's how I draw a shell shape.
