Hi, I'm Al Krakosky , I'm an artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to draw an arbutus tree. Now, for a tree, we're going to start out the trunk. It's branches kind of curve a lot, all over the place. So, you can have fun with this one. All those branches coming off, of there, just straight lines for that, straight lines, curved lines. Come back down, follow the same shape you've drawn before. And then, from here, put another branch come up, curve down and back up again. Add some branches come off, of there, and follow that same shape, connect, and we'll do another one over here. Follow this shape and then, back down to our trunk. Now, for this, you can add some texture on the bark, just some random, jagged, wavy lines, give you the illusion of that bark texture. And this tree actually sheds it's bark, instead of it's leaves, it's got a reddish bark. So, you want to put that texture on there. We can go ahead and raw some leaves on these branches. For that, I'm just going to draw some wavy, bumpy lines around our branches. Same thing over here, you connect over to these leaves, and over here as well. Just different sized bumps on this line, to act as leaves. Just like that, you can color some of that in. Makes it a lot easier, instead of drawing each individual leaf. We can draw our grass down here. Some more jagged lines to represent our grass. And that's it, that's how you draw an arbutus tree. Thank you for watching and keep on drawing.
