Hi, I'm Jessica, and I'm an artist. And today, we're going to draw a certificate. So, the first thing we're going to do is, we're going to draw the shape of the certificate, which is going to be a rectangle. And then, after we've got our basic shape of our certificate, most certificates consist of a few different pieces. So, no matter what kind of certificate you have, they've all got these similar things. The first thing they have is kind of an ornate border that goes all the way around the edge. And, in my border, we've got these decorative corners, but you can really have a blast here making your border look however you'd like. So, we bring those sides down, and we're going to make the border a little bit thicker there. Next, we're going to have the certificate part at the top. So, if you want, you can actually write that. You can write "Certificate" across the top. Put a little bit of a curve to it, which looks a little more dramatic. Maybe some shapes on the side to make it fancy. After all, this is a certificate. And then, we're going to put a line of who the certificate goes to. Maybe this is a certificate for being the best, "Certificate of Bestness." Okay, so, we're going to put a line underneath. That's where the "To" goes. And then, we're going to put one more, and that explains. It says, you know, "To Janet for being the best." And then, it's signed by whoever issued the certificate. In this case, Jessica. And then, we always have this big kind of a badge in the corner, just to show how very special it is. And, that is how you draw a certificate.
