Hi, my name's Jessica, and I'm an artist. And today, we're going to work on drawing frills and lace. So, the first thing we're going to do is, we're going to draw the thing that we're to put frills and lace on, which, in our case, is going to be a dress. So, our dress is short sleeved, going to keep it nice and simple. There we go, there's our dress. Now, we're going to go back and put the frills and the lace on the dress. We're going to start at the neckline, and we're going to put, basically, these little curved shapes that just go all the way across, and they touch on the neckline to show a little bit of a ruffle. We're going to put those on the sleeves as well, just a rounded shape that goes all the way across the sleeve. And, we're going to do one final one on the bottom of the dress. These don't have to be perfect, they just have to be a curved line that touches the hem, or whatever it is that you're drawing the frills on. So, that is lace there. And now, in the middle of the dress we're going to put some frills. So, frills can be made of lace, but they're usually sort of a different concept. And, when we're going to put the frills on, first of all we're going to sort of identify where the frills are going to go. So, the frills are going to go in the middle of the dress here, and they're going to come down like that. So, we're going to go through, and we're just going to do this kind of squiggly line to indicate that the fabric here is different than it is on the other part of the dress. This is our frills. And, what we're going to do is just take a line, and just basically put a squiggle in the line, and just make many of them, side by side to indicate that we have frills abound, lots of frills going on here. Frills, and frills, and frills. And, when we're done, what we're going to have is a dress that has a whole bunch of lace and frills on it. There we go. And, anywhere else you want to go back in. Say, you want to go to the top and put some lace around the top part of the dress there, you can do that. We can put some more lace on the bottom, so we have two rows of lace back to back. The world is your oyster. You can put lace and frills wherever you want. And, that's what's so much fun about drawing. We'll even put a little layer of lace at them bottom of our frills. And, that is how you draw frills and lace.
