Hi, my name is Jessica, and I'm an artist. And today, we're going to draw flower roots. So when we draw our flower, we're going to just do the stem. It's going to come down and we're give it a couple little leaves to show that it's a lovely flower. And we're going to actually draw the flower on top so that we can see this beautiful flower. Here it is. Now, what happens underneath the ground? The flower doesn't just sit on top of the ground like it does in a lot of the pictures you see, but the flower actually has roots. So we're going to draw those roots. Underneath the ground, we're just going to do these sort of squiggly lines to show where the water source and the food source comes from for the flower. So when we do our roots, just make a few squiggly lines and you can, depending on how in detail you want to get, you can add these add extra pieces kind of almost like veins. They go down and they get more water and food for the flower. And they store some of the food and water that the flower gets above ground. And that is how you draw flower roots.
