Hi, I'm Al Krakosky and I'm an artist. Today I'm going to show you how to draw a shoe from the back looking forward. Now to start off with the top of the shoe with the heel and draw a curved line kind of like a half oval and it's going to curve around because you see a little bit of the front. So follow this shape and we'll stop there and go down, same thing on this side, stop here and go down and then we'd see a little bit of the tongue sticking out. And then we'd shade those in just with some quick lines. Now go back up here, follow the outline of this shape, same thing on this side. We'll curve in then curve back out and then back in again. Same thing over here, curve out and then back in. We'll close this off with a curved line and go back down here to draw the sole, the back of the sole of the shoe and close that off. So that's your basic shape, that's for the back of the shoe. Then you've just got to think about what you'd see, what else you'd see in the back of the shoe. We can add some textured lines on the bottom here, maybe there would be a design or a logo on the back here and maybe some threading going across curving like that and anything else you can think of. You can design your shoe however you'd like but that is how you'd draw the back and that's it. Thank you for watching and keep on drawing.
