Hi, I'm Al Krakosky and I'm an artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to draw a shoe with a side view. The first thing we're going to do is draw a trapezoid. So your trapezoid is your basic shape for a side view of a shoe. You're going to do rounded points though, come down here at an angle and connect. So it already looks like a shoe. The next thing we're going to do is add the tongue sticking out of the top and it's going to curve up here right before the heel. Then you can go back in and erase this line down here and we erase this, this straight line because this is going to dip down like that. We can go back down here and follow this curved line, put the sole of the shoe and we can shade that in a little bit. And once you have this, you can be creative and add some designs in your shoe. We'll draw a curved line there, shade that in and one back here, shade that in and of course we've got to add the tongue, the rest of the tongue and do the laces, curved lines all the way up. And then just do whatever you would like, add some designs, be creative and then we'll add the sock and part of the leg. And that is how you draw a shoe from a side view. Thank you for watching and keep on drawing.
