Hi, my name is Daisy. I'm an artist, and I'm going to show you how to draw a mammoth. So, we're going to start with the basic shape which is just a couple of big circles, kind of close together; that will make up the body. So, we're going to be joining the circles together in one big line that comes across the top and then one underneath. Now, we need another circle up here for the head. We'll get to that one later. Now, for the legs, we're just going to draw a couple of lines that curves straight down, like so; then, tape it down to the bottom. We can draw the bottom of the feet slightly rounded and then the back leg, since we don't see the top of it, we're just going to draw it hidden behind. The front legs are pretty much the same, but they are a little bit thinner. So, we'll just draw two lines tapering down; same sort of feet. And this one, we see more of this back leg at the front and the same idea, but not, don't have it on the same level as this one 'cause you want it to be behind them. So, that's basically the legs. And then the head, we're going to have him facing up and then a big trunk. It can be a big curvy line; and a trunk can be doing anything that you want. So, mine is big and curvy; a little C shape closing it off. Give him a little eye and a mouth that can be a line that just comes up underneath the trunk. And the head goes all the way to the body. He's going to need some ears and those are really big and they come down like so, really big fluffy ears and join that body to the head. Now, the difference between a mammoth and an elephant is that mammoths are really hairy. So, you want to give it lots and lots of hair and it got little tails that are also very hairy. So, I just draw lines coming off to make it really hairy. You can draw lines all throughout the body to show all of these hair. Lots and lots of lines; little touch of hair on the head and on his chest. His trunk won't be so hairy, but you can draw a little bit if you want. Now, one last thing, he needs a tusk. So, we're going to stop back here and draw these two big curvy lines on this side and on the other side of his trunk so it looks like its behind his head. And there we go. My name is Daisy and that's how you draw a mammoth.
