Hi, my name is Patricia. I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw an ice block. Now basically an ice block is a cube of ice, a very large cube of ice and think of it like a cube. This is somewhat rectangular so basically I did four lines. I angled them for perspective purposes so two diagonal lines parallel and then two more parallel lines but straight along and then here we'll do two parallel lines down, the front one of course is a little bit longer and then this front shape is going to be pretty much a square. And here is your ice block. Now let's put it, give it a horizon line and the ice block just basically has texture. When ice freezes, this is what it's going to look like and you just get those weird shapes and forms. It might have some bubbles in it but basically you just draw some texture on it to make it look like an ice block. You can do shading if you'd like. You know we can add some shading. It's easier with a pencil because then you can just give it a nice solid shade. Here I'm doing a little crosshatching on the side. Let's see here, let's give it some shading, there we go. So you can shade it if you'd like and that means the light source is coming from this direction because the shade is back here and that looks like a pretty solid ice cube. Enjoy.
