Hey, what's up? Chris here and today we're going to be leaning how to draw an obelisk. And obelisk is a tall stone pillar with a pointed tip. They're found in Egypt. Let's begin. We will start with that pointed tip I was telling you about. So, we go with a pointed tip, and we're going to come down. Here we go. And as it comes down, sometimes it widens at the bottom. So, we will widen it out a bit. There you go. Now, right in the middle we're going to draw another line coming down at an angle and then a line across here and a line across here. This is to give the effect that you're looking at it and you're able to see two sides of it. OK. Then we'll take a thicker gauge marker and use that to draw the land it's on, because these things just don't float around. OK. So, we got that. And another thing about the obelisk is they usually have carvings and inscriptions on the sides of them. So, we'll just do some of those along the body of it. And it's just random things you can do, so forth and so forth all the way down. Here you go, those little things. You're looking at from the side so you won't probably be able to see too much. But just to give you the effect that there are carvings and inscriptions going on. There you go, straight from Egypt. I'm Chris and this is how you draw an obelisk.
