Hey, what's up? I'm Chris. And today we're going to be learning how to draw a walking man, meaning a man in motion. So, let's get to moving. The first thing we're going to do is we're going to start with the head. So, we're going to draw it here, and we're going to do a head, circle for the eye, his nose, his chin. He's happy to be walking. But we don't want him bald, so we'll give him some hair. Let's give him some yellow hair. The good thing about drawing is you can like take advantage of using all the colors in your spectrum that you have, all the colors in your arsenal. That way you can give it more life. So, there's his hair, lines inside the eyes. That's that. Now, we're going to draw these lines, they're going to come down and we're going to give him a collar and here is the chest area and his arm is going to be going back. I'll explain why in a minute, the reason. There's his hand and this arm is going this way. Now, the reason why that hand is going like this and the other hand's going forward, that's called stride position. It shows that he's in motion. Now, this is important. This leg here is going to be bending going this way. Here's the pants and there's the shoe. And there's the lines, as I always say. Now, this leg is behind, which is on the other side. So, we'll kind of go like this to show the dimension. There's his pockets, there's his pants. We'll come down, boop, boop, boop, there are the buttons. Now, there's the other leg and it's behind. Here's the shoe. Let's bring the foot down. You can even curve the shoe a little bit. See? And put some lines like that, you're bending the shoe giving a more authentic look that he's walking. And we'll take our thick one, and we'll add some ground, give him some ground. What's he walking on? Can't be walking on water. So, bring this across, close that, a little shadow of him walking, so forth. And that is that. There you have it. Close off that knee. Boom. I'm Chris, and this is how you draw a walking man.
