Hey, what's up? Chris here and today we're going to be learning how to draw a realistic scar. So first things first let's make a face. So we're going to draw a line down here, a line down here, curve this around, make it like a six. We'll fill it in, put a line here, another line, another six backwards and these are the nostrils and this is a nose. So we'll just put some lines there, a little cartoon nose. Then we'll put a mouth and that way you can see the scar. So we're going to start by putting a line here, a thin line, draw some lines out that way and draw another line coming back in. So there's the scar. Then, we'll take some pink and we'll fill it in, get right up on the line. If you make a mistake, just erase it. So we're going to make it pink because it's healed, as close as you can, that's it. Now on the outside usually it's a little bit of pink, reddish color so go around in on the outside, very lightly, oh so lightly, there and if you're using a pencil you can shade it and it will add more dimension to it. So now we'll just come around the mouth and add some depth to that and that will be about it, a little more, a little more lines. Scars are funny like that and that about sums it up. A little more white around there, tighten that up, that way the colors blend into each other a little better, see? Now it's like a lighter pink. Then use your eraser and what have you to get a better effect and smooth it out and soften it up. But there you have it, ooh, hope he's alright. I'm Chris and this is how you draw a realistic scar.
