Hey, what's up? This is Chris and today we're going to be learning how to draw elephant eyes. Let's begin. Now, we're going to start with the actual eye so we're going to bring this line up here and then we're going to go that way and then we're going to do the same thing and we're going to come down and close it off. Elephants have really textured skin so to show that it's an elephant eye we're just going to do some of the texture first before we actually do the eye itself. So we're going to draw this line here. There's usually a line up under, get close, they'll connect. then you go here then here and so forth and you know, an elephant like I said has really textury, leathery type skin. So we're just going to draw these lines and come up, draw another line and it's just very wrinkly texture that an elephant has. Now some lines this way and there as well. Now for the eye itself. What you want to do is you want to draw a circle inside, an eye, that there, then a half circle here like a crescent moon but not too sharp, sharp enough. The reason why I'm drawing this is to give the effect of, like when you see the eye, the animal eye and the light reflects off of it, that's what this is doing right here. That's giving that type of effect. And usually it's the eyes dark in the inside so you can just fill that in. Don't be afraid to come close to the line and if you make a mistake, erase it and begin again. It's no big deal. So as I close this up I see an elephant eye. I'm Chris and this is how you draw an elephant's eye.
