Hi, my name is Patricia. I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw cats step by step for first graders. Now what you do is the first step is to draw the head. I'm going to start out with the ears, then I'm going to do a nice big circle here for the head, real easy and then you could proceed by doing the face but I'm going to do the body, another, this is more of an oval shape attached to the head and then how many feet do cats have, huh? Four, you guessed it. So we're going to draw the four feet, nice and easy. We've got the straight lines, then a rounded line at the bottom. Notice how the front legs are longer than the back legs, that's for perspective purposes. Alright and then we've got a cat's tail and then two almond shaped eyes. You can put either round eyes in here or another almond shape going up and down. I'm enjoying the up and down almond shape so let's change this eye to be similar to the first and then again an upside down triangle nose. You can fill that in, a mouth, this is a happy cat and then two lines in between the eyes and the nose and then of course, you can put some dots in here and whiskers. And there is, let's add some ground for the cat, there is your cat step by step. Enjoy.
