2004 Sea-Doo GTI Specifications

BRP, the parent company of Sea-Doo, produced its first personal watercraft in 1968. In 2004, the Sea-Doo GTI was available in four trims: base, LE, RFI and LE RFI. Though the four trims were basically the same, there were subtle differences in engine size or convenience features that set them apart.

GTI Base

  • The 2004 Sea-Doo GTI base model had a 718-cc, or 43.8-cubic-inch, two-stroke, twin-cylinder engine with a bore of 3.23 inches, a stroke of 2.68 inches and a compression ratio of 6.2-to-1. It was capable of producing 85 horsepower. This three-seater was 120.9 inches long, 47.2 inches wide and 40.9 inches high with a dry weight of 623 lbs. It had a fuel capacity of 15 gallons, with a reserve tank of 3 gallons, and 33.8 gallons of storage capacity. Its body and hull were made of fiberglass reinforced composite and it had a steering assist system, under-seat storage, a dash storage box and a front storage well.

GTI LE

  • The GTI LE had a 718-cc, or 43.8-cubic-inch, two-stroke, twin-cylinder engine with a bore of 3.23 inches, a stroke of 2.68 inches and a compression ratio of 6.2-to-1. It had a fuel capacity of 15 gallons, with a reserve tank of 3 gallons, and 33.8 gallons of storage capacity. Its body and hull were made of fiberglass reinforced composite and it had a steering assist system, under-seat storage, a dash storage box and a front storage well. Unlike the GTI base model, the LE came standard with rear view mirrors and an analog speedometer.

GTI RFI

  • The GTI RFI had a 782-cc two-stroke, twin-cylinder engine with a bore of 3.23 inches, a stroke of 2.91 inches and a compression ratio of 6-to-1. It was capable of producing 110 horsepower. This three-seater was 120.9 inches long, 47.2 inches wide and 40.9 inches high with a dry weight of 680 lbs. It had a fuel capacity of 15 gallons, with a reserve tank of 3 gallons, and 33.8 gallons of storage capacity. Its body and hull were made of fiberglass reinforced composite and it had a steering assist system, under-seat storage, a dash storage box and a front storage well. It came standard with an analog fuel/oil gauge.

GTI LE RFI

  • The GTI RFI had a 782-cc two-stroke, twin-cylinder engine with a bore of 3.23 inches, a stroke of 2.91 inches and a compression ratio of 6-to-1. It was capable of producing 110 horsepower. This three-seater was 120.9 inches long, 47.2 inches wide and 40.9 inches high with a dry weight of 700 lbs. It had a fuel capacity of 15 gallons, with a reserve tank of 3 gallons, and 33.8 gallons of storage capacity. Its body and hull were made of fiberglass reinforced composite and it had a steering assist system, under-seat storage, a dash storage box and a front storage well. Unlike other models, it came standard with a digital tachometer and fuel gauge as well as an analog speedometer and rear view mirrors.
