Baby Shower Games That Include the Husband
Coed baby showers are a growing trend. The celebrations include the father, his friends and couples the new parents both know. According to Jodi R.R. Smith, author of "From Clueless to Class Act: Manners for the Modern Man," these showers routinely are held midday with refreshments or a light lunch included. She also states that while the main attraction is usually watching the parents-to-be open gifts, some couples enjoy playing games as well. Does this Spark an idea?

Relay Race
-
A friendly competition in the form of a relay race adds a twist to a coed shower. See how well everyone multitasks with a multitasking race. Play this game outside near a clothesline or hang a clothesline from wall to wall inside. One member of the couple holds a doll, a cell phone and a basket of clothes with some clothespins. The other member calls their significant other and has a conversation with them, trying to distract them as much as possible. Whoever is able to hang the clothes first, while talking on the phone with the doll in their arms, then switches places with their partner. The couple completing the relay the fastest wins. Make it even harder by requiring the doll be diapered.
The Superbawl
-
If your friends love football, call your baby shower "the Super Bawl" and watch a real football game. Offer snacks and a conduct a pool for guests to guess the baby's due date. Play a form of the "hot potato" game by passing a football around from person to person while a lullaby plays. When the music stops, the person holding the ball is out. The last person holding the football wins. Alternatively, have everyone bring a football and put them all in a pile. Break out some diapers and see who can diaper all the footballs the fastest. You can also play an actual backyard football game; just be sure the mom-to-be cheers from the sidelines.

Bottle Ten Pins
-
This game puts a spin on bowling. Use 10 baby bottles of the same size. Fill them a little less than halfway full with water or sand. Line them up like bowling pins. Each player has a turn at knocking over the bottles with a small ball. A child's plastic ball or a tennis ball works well. Keep score the same way you would in a regular bowling game. Shorten the time needed for the game as needed by playing just one or two sets.
Double Girth
-
For a traditional shower game, try this variation of guessing the mother-to-be's tummy size. With the original version, guests tear off a piece of toilet paper, guessing the length needed to fit all the way around the mom's pregnant belly. Whoever comes closest wins. In the coed version, have the mom and dad stand face to face while hugging. The other couples tear off a piece of paper they think is big enough to wrap around both the mom and dad. The couple with the length of toilet paper that wraps around both completely without going over wins.
