Gifts to Give with Candy and Sayings

As long as you know what type of candy a friend or loved one likes, then you can make the perfect gift for any occasion. Candy gifts include candy bars, homemade candies, lollipops and dozens of other options. Gifts to give with candy and sayings include ways to display the candy and to make the candy the centerpiece and give it an entirely new look.

Customized Wrappers

  • When you give the gift of candy, consider making your own customized wrappers. The only thing you need is paper and tape. Remove the existing wrappers from the bars or, if it has just one wrapper, then cover the candy in a piece of aluminum foil. Cut construction paper or wrapping paper into sheets long enough to wrap around the candy bars. A small amount of aluminum foil should peek out from underneath the new paper. Write special messages or sayings on the wrapper, wishing the individual a happy birthday or happy holidays. Or, write a fun fortune on the aluminum foil and cover that with the wrapping paper.

Jewelry Box Display

  • Purchase a small jewelry box and fill the inside with miniature candy bars and individually wrapped candies, including gumballs and suckers. Engrave the top of the jewelry box with a special message just for the recipient. Or, write a special saying on a slip of paper and place it underneath the candy. Once she reaches the bottom of the jewelry box, she will find the message you left.

Candy Wreath

  • During the holiday season, create a candy wreath. Write holiday-themed sayings and lyrics from holiday songs on small Christmas ornaments, using a silver marker or a paint marker. Wrap a small piece of ribbon around each type of candy and tie the candies onto the wreath, alternating the candies with the Christmas ornaments. If the wreath is flat, then glue the candies and ornaments onto the wreath.

Candy Bar Cake

  • Create your own birthday cake from full-size candy bars or miniature candy bars. Purchase large blocks of floral foam and cut the foam into round shapes, making one round piece slightly smaller than the other. Place the bottom on a cake stand and glue the candy bars around the edges horizontally. Glue the second piece of floral foam to the top and repeat the process with the candy bars. Make your own banner, wishing the person "happy birthday," or write a different saying and attach it to the top of the cake with a wooden dowel.
