As your relationship grows, you'll want to do more romantic things for your boyfriend. If you have an interest in homemade craft projects, there are a variety of romantic crafts to make for your boyfriend which include photographs, love letters or poems and keepsakes to show him how much you love and care about him.

  1. Framed Collage

    • Go through old magazines for photos, captions and words that express what you want to say to your boyfriend. A mixture of magazines will give you a good selection including home and garden magazines, women's magazines, entertainment and even food magazines. Glue the magazine clippings to a piece of poster board or card stock. Once the glue is dry, place it in a picture frame to give to your boyfriend.

    Decoupage Message in a Bottle

    • Choose a glass bottle to be decorated and strips of colorful paper. Decoupage is done by wrapping pieces of paper around a container and using a special adhesive and varnish to coat it. Go to your local craft store for decoupage adhesive and varnish. Attach the paper strips to the bottle with the decoupage adhesive and apply a coat of varnish once it is dry. Write or type a love letter to your boyfriend. Roll up the letter and place it in the bottle.

    Scrapbook

    • Make your boyfriend a scrapbook by using candid and professional photos from your relationship. Go to your nearest craft store for a scrapbook and supplies. Choose from a variety of papers, templates, scissors, buttons, stencils, brads, stickers and glitter. Papers and stickers are available in a romance theme with hearts, cupid, love and other symbols of romance. Decorate each page with photos and embellishments, using a pen or sticker letters to write captions and messages to your boyfriend.

    Box of Love

    • Create a decorative box to fill with items that illustrate the love you have for your boyfriend. Choose an unfinished box from a craft store and decorate the outside of it with paint, stencils, stickers, buttons, rhinestones or ribbon. To glue buttons or rhinestones to a wooden box, be sure to use wood glue so the embellishments stick for a long time. Once the box is decorated and dry, open it and fill it with items such as photographs of the two of you, event tickets you saved from places you have gone together, a napkin or business card from the first restaurant you went to, a DVD of the first movie you saw together, and love notes you have written to him.
