Themes for a Black & White Bachelorette Party
When it comes to getting married, many future brides choose to have a bachelorette party with her friends and family. Usually the maid of honor and bridesmaids will plan a surprise bachelorette party or ask for the bride’s help in selecting a theme. If the bride-to-be enjoys standing out, you can organize a few black-and-white themes.
-
Basic
-
Ask each party guest to wear black or white clothing. Suggest everyone wear jeans with a black or white shirt. The bride-to-be will wear a neon-colored shirt so that she stands out from her party guests. Another idea is a throwback 80s theme. Ask each guest to wear black and white clothing styles from the 1980s, such as an off-the-shoulder white shirt with black leggings and white slouch socks. Of course, the bride-to-be will stand out in all neon-colored clothing from the 80s.
One Color
-
Create a one-color black and white event by asking the party guests to wear one color. For example, in the party invitations, ask all guests to wear black. Then the bride-to-be will dress in all white. Alternatively, ask the party guests to dress in white and have the bride-to-be dress in black. If the bride wears black, make her a funny shirt to wear. Use white and gray fabric markers to draw a large tombstone on the back of the shirt. Write “Here lies the single life of _______.”

Zebra
-
If the bride-to-be is a fan of zebra print, consider hosting a zebra party. Send out zebra print invitations asking all party guests to wear their favorite black-and-white zebra shirt or dress. The bride-to-be can wear a color zebra print instead of black and white. For example, have her wear a pink-and-black zebra print to stand out in her crowd. Alternatively, have all the guests wear a colored zebra print and have the guest of honor wear black and white.
Formal
-
Organize an elegant black-and-white bachelorette party by having everyone dress in their best formal wear. Ask guests to wear a formal black or white party dress. The bride-to-be will wear a brightly colored formal dress. Alternatively, have all the guests wear a black formal dress and have the guest of honor wear a white dress or colored dress.
