Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 4 Chairs
  • Card Tables

  • Pencils
  • Mah Jongg
  • Mah Jongg Tiles
  • Scoring Pads
  • Pencils
  1. Step 1

Declare a pung when you have a pair of identical tiles in your hand and draw a third one, or any time you see the third tile discarded by another player. It doesn't have to be your turn in the case of a discard.

  2. Step 2

Lay the pung face up on the table in front of you.

  3. Step 3

Discard a tile, because you just added one to your hand.

  4. Step 4

Continue play to the right of the player who declared the pung.

  5. Step 5

If two players want the same tile to complete a pung, the player nearest the right of the person who discarded the tile may have it.

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember that a tile is only available as long as it's not dead. Tiles are dead when a new discard is added.
