Extend the waistband of pants or skirts in a few easy steps.

Extending the waistline of a pair of pants or skirt is a simple project. You do not need to be a tailor or seamstress to add a few inches to the waistband of your garments. Many women opt to extend their pants instead of spending money on maternity clothes, which will only be worn for a few months.
