Open the refrigerator door and locate the product sticker inside. It is usually located on the left side panel.

Write down the serial number of the refrigerator and the model number. Do not assume the model number listed on the outside of the refrigerator is the actual model number. In some cases, that number is a branded number or name that a consumer can identify.

Contact or visit an authorized service center or parts supplier for your refrigerator's manufacturer.

Provide the service representative with the model number and the serial number. The representative will provide you with the correct part or part number for the motor starter relay.
