How to Do Poodle Face Makeup for Halloween

Complete your poodle costume with face makeup.

Poodle costumes are typically available during the Halloween season at costume stores, or they can be made at home. If you or your child is going to dress as a poodle for Halloween, complete the look with the right makeup. A poodle face is easy to create with the right cosmetics and application tools.

Things You'll Need

• Cosmetic sponges
• White face paint
• Black face paint
• Black makeup crayon
• Black lipstick

Instructions

1. Apply the white face paint to your entire facial area with one of the cosmetic sponges.

2. Use a different cosmetic sponge to apply the black face paint to the tip of your nose and to a small area on either side of the nose so that you have a circular black poodle's nose.

3. Draw a straight vertical line from the bottom of your nose to your upper lip with the black makeup crayon.

4. Draw a line curving upward from the outer corner of both sides of your mouth with the black makeup crayon. This is to make the poodle look like she's smiling.

5. Fill in your lips with the black lipstick.

6. Draw several small dots on your cheeks with the black makeup crayon.
