Built for the Xbox 360 and personal computers, the Turtle Beach Ear Force X11 provides amplified game sounds for its users. With its amplified speakers, gamer hear footsteps, weapon reloading and enemy chatter that regular television sounds do not provide. Serious gamers can sometimes get an edge by hearing opponents approaching. Before you can experience the sound of the headphones, you must properly connect them to either your PC or Xbox 360. Connecting to a PC

  • Connect the 3.5mm audio cable into the PC's speaker output plug.

  • Insert the pink plug into the microphone input on your computer.

  • Connect the USB cable into your computer to power up the headset.

Connecting to an Xbox.

  • Look at the Xbox 360's cables to determine if it uses HDMI or red and white A/V cables.

  • Connect the spltter cable to the Xbox HD AV cable if it is using HDMI. If it's using A/V cables, connect the red and white cables to the headset's splitter cable.

  • Insert the green audio plug into the green plug on the splitter cable.

  • Locate the headset's USB cable into the USB slot on the Xbox.
