The ProMag Industries 20-round drum magazine is an aftermarket accessory available for the Saiga 12, a semi-automatic gas piston operated shotgun capable of feeding shells from a box magazine rather than a tube magazine (the most common form of shotgun magazine). Box magazines offer a distinct advantage in terms of overall shell capacity and ease of reloading, since the average tube-fed magazine can only hold five rounds and has to be reloaded after each use; by contrast, box magazines have a capacity of 10 to 20 rounds and can be removed and exchanged with another magazine when they're empty.
Things You'll Need
- 12 gauge shotgun shells
Set the magazine on a flat surface with the clear plastic cover facing upward.
Insert the first shotgun shell into the black loading port. The shell should be upside-down, with the brass back of the shell facing the ceiling as you load.
Repeat Step 2 until the magazine is fully loaded. Insert the loaded magazine into the Saiga 12.
Tips & Warnings
