How to Get a Girlfriend in "GTA IV"

Rockstar Games published "Grand Theft Auto IV" (GTA 4) in 2008. Like other "Grand Theft Auto" games, GTA 4 revolves around crime, cars and violence. In between heists and killing sprees, the player can also engage in more mundane activities, such as dating. GTA 4 features five girls whom the player can meet, date and join for coffee. He meets two of them over the course of the main quest line, while the other three appear on dating websites.

  • Proceed with the main quest line until you get the mission "Three's a Crowd." Pick up Michelle and her friend, drop them off at their destination and then buy some new clothes at the Russian Shop. All locations appear on your minimap. Once you're done, you can call Michelle for a date.

  • Continue with the main quest line until you get the mission "Harboring a Grudge." Drive Packie to the harbor. When you arrive, follow him, steal the Triad truck and then drive it to Packie's safehouse. Afterwards, you'll be able to call Packie's sister Kate for a date.

  • Follow the main quest line until you get the mission "Out of the Closet." Go to the 69th Street Diner. After a cutscene, chase down Rivas and shoot him. From then on, you'll be able to meet women online. The three online girlfriends include Carmen Ortiz, Kiki Jenkins and Alex Chilton.

  • Use an in-game computer. You can find one in your Algonquin safehouse, the hospital and the TW@ Internet cafes.

  • Select the website "love-meet" or "craplist." On "love-meet," select either LawChick or SoBoHoe and click the "Date" button. On "craplist," click on the subject "Party girl seeks man for NSA fun and blog material." Click "contact" to set up your first date.

  • Drive to the pickup location. After your date gets in, drive to a venue, such as a bar, bowling alley or comedy club. If she enjoys herself, she'll give you her number. Afterwards, you can call her to set up more dates.
