How to Create a Boot Disk for PowerEdge T105
A recovery disc gives you peace of mind, as it lets you restore your computer to the original settings if you have a major problem that can't be easily resolved. Unfortunately, the Dell PowerEdge T105 model doesn't ship with a factory restore disc, but that doesn't mean you are out of luck if your computer crashes. The PowerEdge series has the Dell DataSafe Local Backup software, which lets you make your own boot discs any time you'd like.

Tips & Warnings
Creating a boot disc gives you the ability to restore your PowerEdge T105 to its factory settings, but it doesn't actually save any of your existing data. If you want to create a full system backup of all your files, choose the "Back Up Your Files" option instead of the "Create Recovery Discs" option. Creating a full system backup may require multiple DVDs, depending on how much data you have saved on the computer's hard drive.
To use your boot disc, insert it in the disc drive and restart the PowerEdge. The computer will automatically boot from the disc instead of loading the operating system.. Follow the prompts on the screen to return the computer to factory settings.
