Bobcat makes loaders, excavators, tractors and utility vehicles. Depending on the year and type of vehicle, replacing the seat will vary in procedure. Most of the seats either have screws bolting them in below the cushion or from underneath the seat body of the vehicle. These screws can be removed using a wrench. There are typically four bolts holding the seat in place. A wide variety of replacement seats are available from both Bobcat and 3rd party suppliers.
Things You'll Need
- Replacement seat
Determine what type of seat the vehicle has. Lift up the edges of the seat, if bolts are found around the four corners then use a wrench to unscrew them. If there are not visible bolts, look underneath the seat below the vehicle's body - where the seat attaches to the vehicle; the bolts will likely be under there. Unscrew them using a wrench.
Find an appropriate replacement seat that fits the model of the vehicle.
Place the new seat where the old one used to rest. Screw in the bolts using a wrench. Ensure that the connection is tight so that the seat is firm and not loose.
