How to Repair a Power Window Switch on a 1996 Toyota Camry

The driver's side power window switch controls the window motor as well as the power locks, if equipped. The passenger's side window switch controls only the passenger's side window. The entire switch must be replaced on both sides if damaged or inoperable, as individual components of the power window switch can't be serviced or replaced. The switch can easily be removed and replaced by novice mechanics. The task takes only a few minutes to complete and no special tools are needed.
