      Check the circuit breaker if the Boss vacuum does not operate. Reset or replace as needed. Ensure the power cord is firmly connected to the power supply and try another outlet if necessary.

      Turn off and unplug the vacuum if there is no suction. Lift up on the front cover latch and open the cover. Push the lever to the left and pull the cardboard collar on the dust bag down and out to remove. Lift the filter handle out of the bottom of the compartment and dust the filter over a waste bin to remove excess dirt and debris. Replace the filter inside the unit. Set a new dust bag inside the compartment and set the collar on the back shelf inside the unit. Push it up to secure and tuck the bag inside the compartment. Close the cover and restore power before use.

      Examine the hose and nozzles for possible obstructions if there is little or no suction. Remove the blockage and wipe clean with a damp cloth.

      Select the correct floor setting if the vacuum is not operating well during use. Turn the "Brush Roll" lever to "Bare Floor" for bare floors and "Carpet" for carpets. Ensure the "Height Adjustment" knob is set to a position that allows the vacuum to move freely.
