A ceramic sink is a durable and traditional feature found in many bathrooms and kitchens. To get the most use out of this kind of sink, you want to clean it properly to avoid damaging it with harsh chemical cleaners. Instead of trying to find a commercial product that is safe and effective for your ceramic sink, use mild ingredients that you already have around the home.
Things You'll Need
- Nylon sponge with scrubber
- Dish soap
- Baking soda
Saturate a sponge with a nylon scrubber on one side with warm water.
Drizzle a light layer of dish soap over the scrubber side of the sponge and wipe it across the sink surface.
Rinse the ceramic sink to remove any soapy residue.
Rinse the sponge and sprinkle it with a dusting of baking soda for tougher buildups that need a more abrasive cleaner.
Scrub gently over the ceramic and rinse the sink when all buildup is removed. Let the sink air dry.
