How to Make Pouches
If you are dressing up in a Renaissance or pirate costume for a class play, festival or Halloween, you can make your costume look more authentic by wearing a few thematic accessories. For example, you can wear a faux leather pouch in which you can hold your money and car keys. Instead of buying a pouch from a costume shop, you can save money by making your own faux leather pouch using a few basic craft materials.
Instructions

1
Cut out an eight-inch circle from faux leather using scissors.
-
2
Punch out holes around the edge of the circle using a single leather hole punch. Space the holes about one inch apart and half an inch from the edge.
-
-
3
Cut a length of twine to measure 14 inches long.
-
4
Weave the twine through the holes of the faux leather.
-
5
Pull the ends of the twine, which will draw up the form into a faux leather pouch. You can tie the ends together to secure the pouch's shape.
