How to Make a Bowling Flyer

Save

If you like to bowl, then consider hosting a bowling party at your local bowling alley. You can make a flyer by following just a few easy steps. Consider printing only one flyer, and then taking it to your local copy center to have it mass-produced in color. Roll up the flyer, and tie a ribbon around it for a pretty delivery to a friend's mailbox.

Things You'll Need

  • Computer
  • Word processing program
  • Printer
  • Ink
  • Computer paper
  • Open up a new document in your word processing program.

  • Select your font, font size and font orientation by clicking on the drop down boxes for font and font size and clicking the "Center" font orientation button. For example, for a bowling flyer, you may want to select a whimiscal font such as "Mufferaw" in font size 72.

  • Type out your opening message to your guests. An example is the following: "Join us for a Bowling Party!"

  • Reduce your font to 36, and type out the details of the party such as date, time, location and RSVP information.

  • Insert a bowling graphic at the bottom of the flyer. To do this, click on "Insert" and the "Clip Art." Type in "bowling" into the search box and click "Go."

  • Double-click the bowling graphic you like. It automatically will download onto your flyer.

  • Save the flyer, and print it.
