How to Troubleshoot a Miata Horn

A working horn module is needed to properly pass inspection.

The horn module, found under the hood of your Miata, is a school-bell -shaped part that creates the honking sound. As these parts sometimes stop working, you must replace it with a new, working horn module. • Horn module
• Screwdriver

Instructions

1. Find the horn module under the hood of your Miata, near the car's grille.

2. Unscrew the screws holding the horn part into place.

3. Remove the power cable plugged into the socket of the horn part.

4. Take the horn module out of the car and set it aside.

5. Place the new horn module in place where the old part was pulled. Screw the module into place with the screws and plug in the power cable to complete the installation.
