It is possible to connect multiple computers to a single Internet source.

Sky is a cable and Internet provider based in the UK (and other former British colonies). When using Sky for the Internet you are given an Internet modem that allows you to connect a computer to the Internet signal via either Ethernet cable or USB. With the two different options, it is actually possible to hook up two different computers to the Internet modem, connecting one via Ethernet and the other with USB.
