Instructions

    • 1

Use a micro screwdriver to tighten the screws in the glass arms. If the screws come loose frequently, remove those screws. Use the tweezers to pick up and insert new screws, then tighten the new screws into the glass arms.

    • 2

Grip the hinges attached to the glass arms and nose pads between the nose of the pliers. Bend each hinge back in place.

    • 3

Bend frames back into shape with your hands and a pair of pliers. Metal frames are easier to bend than plastic frames, which need to be heated first. Heat plastic frames with a blow dryer, or soak the frames for 10 minutes in hot, but not boiling, water. Bend the frame with your hands. Grip misshapen parts of the frame between the nose of the pliers, and pull the frame back into shape. Frames can easily snap, so be gentle when applying pressure.

Replace nose pads. If the nose pads are torn or have come off, pull them out of the nose support. Push the protruding surface on the inner side of the new nose pad into the rivet on the nose support.
