Place your hand on the top of the console lid toward the front, allowing your fingers to hang over the front edge of the lid.

Curl your fingers under and pull the latch open. The latch is located on the underside of the front of the lid. The latch is not visible from the top of the console, so you'll need to feel for it with your fingers.
