How to Make Business Cards With Avery in Word 2007

Avery Dennison Corp. is a manufacturer of self-adhesive labels, business cards and other office paper products. Stanton Avery started Kum-Kleen products in 1935. Over the next few decades the company grew rapidly, going public in 1961. The company consistently appears in the Fortune 500. Beginning with Word 2007, Avery templates are built into Microsoft Word, giving you the convenience of having ready-to-print business cards at your fingertips. Add a minimal amount of text and you're in business.

      Click the "Mailings" tab in Microsoft Word.

      Click "Create" and then click "Labels."

      Click "Options."

      Click on the down arrow next to "Label Vendors" and then choose "Avery Standard."

      Scroll through the "Product Number" menu and choose the type of business card you would like to use; for example, click "5371."

      Click "OK" and then type the information for the business's address into the "Address" area.

      Insert the business cards into the printer. Click "Print" and then click "Full page of the same label." Click "Print."
