You can create Avery postcards on your computer by using the free templates that are available in your software and online. Avery Postcards templates are unique because they are pre-formatted with the text and layout that is required for the postcard. You can update the postcard with your personal information, and postcard addresses. Once this complete, print the postcard by using the print shortcuts in the software.

Instructions

  1. Using Microsoft Word 2010

      Click the "File" tab and select "New." Type "PostCard" in the search box. Review the available postcards and locate the Avery postcards. Click an Avery postcard and the "Download" icon. The template downloads to your computer.

      Update the default text in the postcard with your event details. Add your name and address to the postcard. Update the recipient's name and address information.

      Print the postcard by clicking the "Print" icon on the Quick Access Toolbar.

    Using Google Documents

      Navigate to the Google Documents template gallery. Type "Postcards" in the search box. Review the available post cards and locate the Avery postcards. Download the postcard by clicking the "Use This Template." The template opens in Google Documents.

      Update the default text in the postcard with your event details. Add your name and address to the postcard. Update the recipient's name and address information.

      Print the postcard by clicking the "Print" icon on the menu.

    Avery Online Labels

      Navigate to the Avery template gallery. Type "Postcard" in the search box. Select the Avery product number that you want to use. Click "Next."

      Select the postcard category and design. Click "Next." Click the "Front of the Sheet" icon. Update the text to appear on the front of the postcard. Click "Back of the Sheet." Update the address information that will appear on the back of the post card. Click "Next."

      Print the postcard by clicking the "Print This Project" button.
