How to Program a Keypad to a F-350 Ford Truck


The Ford F-350 Super Duty truck was introduced in 1998. The Ford Super Duty Trucks series are engineered to carry heavy loads and built with steel framing for durability. They also come with multiple upgrades. A few of the F-350 upgrades are a V-10 engine, chrome accents and keyless entry. Keyless entry allows you to lock and unlock your truck from a keypad rather than using a key. Programming and reprogramming the keypad can be accomplished in a few minutes. and you may program up to eight keypads for each Ford F-350.

  • Sit in the driver's seat and insert your F-350's key into the ignition.

  • Start your trucks engine and quickly turn it off. Repeat this step eight more times in less than 10 seconds. Your truck should remain on after the final cycle. The trucks door locks will lock and unlock to confirm that the vehicle has entered into the programming mode.

  • Press the "Lock" button on your F-350's keypad within 20 seconds of entering the keypad programming mode. The truck's door locks will again lock and unlock to confirm the keypad has been programmed. You may repeat this step for any additional keypads, during the 20-second time frame, to program the additional keypads as well.

  • Turn off your F-350. You may now remove the key from your truck's ignition.
