How to Cancel a Honda Care Extended Warranty

Like most car manufacturers, Honda includes a factory warranty for all its vehicles. When you bought your Honda, it came with a limited factory warranty that is good for the first three years (or 36,000 miles). However, you also have the option of purchasing an extended warranty called Honda Care. This plan is far more comprehensive, and can be good up to eight years after buying your car. If you have Honda Care and want to cancel the contract, there are a few steps you can take.

Instructions

1. Contact the dealership where you purchased Honda Care.

2. Cancel the warranty contract.

3. Keep in mind that you will get a full refund only if you cancel the warranty within 60 days of purchase and haven't used any of its included services. If you are past this time frame, you may not be refunded.
