Instructions

  1. Vampire Doll's Costume

    • 1

Remove the doll's clothing and replace it with a black dress. If the dress is conservative, cut the neckline into a v-shape. You can also cut the bottom of the dress an inch or two to create a shorter hemline.

    • 2

Use a shiny black or red remnant to create a cape for the doll. Cut out the back portion of a cape template and then sew a small snap to the inner upper corner of each side so you can secure the cape around the doll's neck.

    • 3

Apply make-up to the doll's face. Take white eyeshadow and rub it all over to create a pale complexion. Apply red eyeshadow on the doll's eyelid and run a line of red lip liner under the doll's eye. Color in the doll's lips with the red eyeliner and let a few drops of fake blood drip down her mouth.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you want to create a male vampire doll, dress the doll in a dark black shiny suit with a bright red tie. Apply the make-up to the doll's face in the same way as making a female vampire doll.

  • If you cannot find red eye liner, use a very fine point washable red marker.

  • Before sewing the snap on the cape, wrap the top of the cape around the doll's neck. You may need to cut the sides near the top of the cape narrower so that the cape fits snugly around the doll's neck.

  • Purchase fake blood at a Halloween store or craft shop.

  • Apply the fake blood over a newspaper because it may stain.
