How do I Troubleshoot a Canon ImageRunner 5570?

Copiers for use in an office or business are available from many manufacturers, such as Canon. If you a own copier, such as the ImageRunner 5570, a problem may occur that you will need to fix to continue using the device. Common problems that you will experience with the ImageRunner 5570 may include an out-of-paper message and poor copies, which are the result of having low toner.

Instructions

  1. Out of Paper

      Open the paper tray to see the current level of paper.

      Place new paper in the paper tray. The paper should nearly reach the top of the tray.

      Push the plastic plates on the sides of the paper forward so that they are snug or firm against the paper.

      Turn the blue dial and change the setting to match the size of the paper in the tray.

      Close the paper tray and continue using the copier.

    Low Toner

      Open the cover on the copier for the toner supply.

      Pull the toner cartridge out of the copier.

      Remove the sealing tape from a new toner cartridge and then insert it into the copier. Push the toner cartridge to set it into position. The arrow marks on the toner and copier will align when the cartridge has been set in place correctly.

      Close the cover for the toner supply.

      Continue making copies with the copier.
