How to Save an SWF in Firefox
Firefox is an open source Web browser developed by Mozilla. The browser is built on an extensible framework, allowing you to add functionality not found in the default installation of the browser in the form of Firefox add-ons. There are numerous Firefox add-ons that enable you to save ShockWave Flash (SWF) files to your local computer. Firefox also features an element inspector that can be used to locate and download SWF files directly from a Web page.

View Page Info

Launch Firefox and navigate to the Web page containing the SWF file you wish to download.

Right-click on the page and select "View Page Info."

Select the "Media" tab.

Locate the SWF file amongst the list of media files and click "Save As" to save the file on your computer.
FlashGot Extension

Launch Firefox and select "Tools" and then "Add-ons."

Click "Get Add-ons."

Type "FlashGot" in the search box and press "Enter."

Click "Add to Firefox" to install the FlashGot extension and restart Firefox to activate the add-on.

Navigate to the Web page containing the SWF file you wish to download.

Right-click on the page and select "FlashGot Media." The SWF file will be saved to your default download folder.
Download Flash and Video Extension

Launch Firefox and select "Tools" and then "Add-ons."

Click "Get Add-ons."

Type "Download Flash and Video" in the search box and press "Enter."

Click "Add to Firefox" to install the Download Flash and Video extension and restart Firefox to activate the add-on.

Navigate to the Web page containing the SWF file you wish to download.

Click the Download Flash and Video icon in the Firefox status bar to scan the page for SWF files and download them to your default download directory.
