The car seat has a separate base that remains in the car and a latch that allows the car seat to be lifted in and out of the base. It also comes with a pivoting canopy that can be removed with a few extra steps.

Step 1

Remove the back canopy end from the inner canopy holder on one side of the Evenflo Embrace car seat.

Remove the front canopy end from the outer canopy holder on the same side of the car seat.

Step 3

Repeat Step 1 on the other side of the car seat.

Step 4

Repeat Step 2 on the other side of the car seat. The canopy is now removed from the Evenflo Embrace car seat.
