  • Add 2 ounces of aloe vera gel to a glass bowl.

  • Add two drops of rose geranium essential oil and one drop of apricot essential oil to the bowl.

  • Microwave the bowl on high for one minute. This melts the gel into a liquid.

  • Stir in 1/4 ounce of polysorbate 20, an emulsifier.

  • Melt 2 tablespoons of beeswax in a separate glass bowl.

  • Add about 2 ounces of rose hydrosol to the bowl containing the clay, aloe and oil mixture. Microwave this bowl for two minutes.

  • Pour the bowl containing the hot water, clay and aloe mixture into the bowl of melted beeswax. Beat the mix by hand for about five minutes. It will immediately froth up into a creamy substance.

  • Pour it into a lotion container and let it cool to room temperature, uncovered. It can immediately be used as a skin-firming masque, which is rinsed away with warm, then cool water.
